You are REQUIRED to have a designated driver to escort you on the day of your surgery. You may not go home alone in a taxi or on public transportation.
What Happens When You Go Home?
Every patient is unique and every surgery is different, so you can expect to receive individualized care.
Your nurse will prepare you to continue your care in the comfort of your own home. If pain medication is prescribed, please take it on time as directed.
Home care instructions will be given to you both verbally and in writing. If you have any questions please ask your nurse as we want to answer any questions you or your family may have regarding your home care. Be sure to follow those instructions when you are at home and consult with your physician if you have questions.
