Physical Therapy and Fitness Center
The Sutter Davis Physical Therapy Clinic therapists provide evaluation, education, and training for patients in the proper use of exercise to restore function and relieve pain. The clinic also offers a fitness center, open to the public, to provide a continuing path to an active lifestyle.

The Sutter Davis Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic is located at 1340 Lake Boulevard in West Davis. Sutter Davis also provides physical therapy services in Woodland at 475 Pioneer Avenue. Cardiac
Cardiac rehabilitation is for individuals who have angina, congestive heart failure, valvular disease and for those recovering from heart attack, cardiac surgery, angioplasty (PTCA), atherectomy, rotoblator and stent placement. Others at risk for developing heart disease may also be appropriate.

The professional staff will develop an individually tailored education and exercise program for you based on your medical history and your cardiovascular needs.

Pulmonary
The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program is designed with a focus on helping improve quality of life. Pulmonary Rehabilitation teaches you how to:
  • Manage your illness more effectively;
  • Increase your ability to function at home and at work.

Our goal is to help you take a more active role in the daily affairs of your life. You will be instructed in:
  • How your lungs work, and how Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) can interfere with breathing
  • How to administer respiratory medications, and their purposes and side effects
  • Breathing control and relaxation techniques to assist you when you experience shortness of breath
  • How to simplify your daily activities and conserve energy in your regular routine
  • How exercise can improve your breathing technique, strength and endurance
  • How your diet affects your lung function
  • How to gain control of your life and habits by taking charge of your health
