The Medicare-certified Sutter Visiting Nurses Association - Davis is comprised of registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, home health aides and therapists. The interdisciplinary team provides home care services that include personal care, case management, social services and physical and speech therapy.

Hospice
Though not part of the Sutter Health system, non-profit Yolo Hospice works closely with Sutter Davis Hospital to provide 24-hour care and support to terminally ill patients. The emphasis of hospice care is on pain control and symptom management, and emotional support, enabling patients to live out their lives with dignity and comfort, surrounded by the people and things they love. Because end-of-life care presents a tremendous emotional and physical burden on family and friends, hospice fills the gaps to allow those close to the patient to worry less about the details of care and more about the important emotional and spiritual needs of the patient and family.
