Critical Care
Sutter Davis Hospital
Patients requiring intensive medical or post-surgical care are served through a dedicated Intensive Care Unit. Specially trained nursing staff and board-certified critical care internists ensure around-the-clock monitoring of extremely ill patients.
Visiting is allowed in the Intensive Care Unit 24 hours a day, but visits may be limited, depending on the patient's condition.
Sutter Davis Hospital's intensive care unit is part of Sutter's Electronic Intensive Care Unit (eICUĀ®) program. Sutter Health has the only hospitals in the greater Sacramento area, and the first hospitals on the West Coast, to offer this new technology to increase patient safety.
