Cardiac Rehabilitation
Sutter Davis Hospital

A nationally recognized "center of excellence" in cardiac care, the Heart Institute at Sutter Davis Hospital provides our patients with comprehensive cardiac diagnostic, rehabilitation and preventive services. Our outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation program provides medically supervised exercise and education to help patients return to a healthy life after a cardiac event.

Facilities
The Cardiac Rehabilitation department recently moved to a new location at Sutter West Medical Group's 2030 Medical Office Building (across the parking lot from the hospital). The new location brings more room and advanced technologies and equipment for our patients.

We have expanded our telemetry system to 12 channels and database capabilities for patient information and better communication for physicians. The gym has a cardiorespiratiory emphasis and includes seven treadmills, three elliptical walkers, four Neuteps, a stepmill and several bikes. Strength and stretch training are also key components and have a Cardiac Rehab has added a new focus on balance with a SportKat balance system for diagnostic and training programs. In addition, Cardiac Rehab patients have access to personalized Pilates training on a reformer Pilates machine.

Affiliations
Cardiac Rehabilitation at Sutter Davis Hospital is affiliated with the Sutter Heart & Vascular Institute. Sutter Heart & Vascular Institute's primary campus is Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento; but has programs at all area Sutter hospitals.

Cardiac Rehabilitation at Sutter Davis Hospital was nationally certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation in 2005.
