    Visitor Information

    Guidelines for Visitors
We know how important it is to have family and friends with you during your hospital stay. However, your recovery is always our first concern.

Unless your physician restricts visitors, your family and friends may visit you during the hours listed below. We ask that you limit your visitors to two at a time. Children under 12 are not permitted in patient care areas except when accompanied by an adult. Following this guideline will help ensure that you get the rest you need.

Please remind your visitors of our smoking policy. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas outside the hospital.

    Visiting Hours
Sutter Davis Hospital has an open visitation policy to provide patients with visitation options that work best for them, their families and loved ones.

Visitors are welcome 24 hours a day. Our nursing staff will work with patients and visitors around visitation. Children are welcome to visit when accompanied by an adult. In certain patient care areas including; ICU, Birthing Center, Surgery Center and the Emergency Department visitors are requested to check with the nurse for the visitation procedure. Patient care is our first priority, so there may be times when visitors may be asked to step out of the patient's room.

    Visitor Parking
Parking is free and available in front of Sutter Davis Hospital. If you require overnight parking or have a recreational vehicle or other oversized vehicle, please contact the Plant Operations and Maintenance Department at 757-5118.

    Patient Condition Information
We understand that your family and friends are concerned about you and want to be kept informed about your condition. To help limit the number of calls to our nurses, we ask that you make arrangements to have one family member or friend call the nurses' station responsible for your care to ask about you. They can then share that information with other family members and friends.
